Information we collect
If you create an account, we collect your email address, name, city and state, program interests, saved preferences, alert settings, consent history, correction and provider-claim submissions, and basic security logs. You may leave optional profile fields blank. We minimize provider email content to what is necessary for verification and audit.
Google sign-in
If you choose Google sign-in, Google provides a stable account identifier, verified email address, and optional display name. We use that information only to create or link your Beauty Program Guide account and secure your session. Google access and refresh tokens are not retained for sign-in.
How information is used
To operate accounts, deliver requested alerts, improve data quality, prevent abuse, and maintain an audit trail. Marketing email consent and consent to share information with program providers are separate, optional choices. We use your stated interests and general location to personalize the directory and, only when you give partner-sharing consent, to evaluate relevant program-provider introductions.
Sharing and retention
We do not share or sell your lead information with program providers unless you separately opt in to partner sharing. If you opt in, the information shared may include your email, name, general location, selected program interests, intent preferences, and preferred contact method. We may receive payment for a qualified introduction, and the recipient may contact you about relevant programs. Service providers process only the information needed to run email, hosting, and operational integrations. Retention is limited by operational, security, and legal needs.
Your choices
You may review preferences, export account data, unsubscribe from marketing email, withdraw marketing or partner-sharing consent for future use, report a correction, or request account deletion. Where applicable, you may also use the site’s privacy-choice controls or contact us about access, deletion, correction, or opt-out requests.

First-party analytics
We record limited page, search, engagement, and conversion events in our own backend. We do not retain full raw IP addresses, fingerprint visitors, or load optional third-party analytics before applicable consent. Do Not Track signals are respected for analytics.
